Astronauts just found life in outer space and scientists aren't sure how it got there

MOSCOW, Russia (PNN) - August 26, 2014 - Russian cosmonauts have discovered something remarkable clinging to the outside of the International Space Station: living organisms.

The microscopic creatures appeared during a space walk intended to clean the vessel's surface, and were allegedly identified - incredibly - as a type of sea plankton. According to Sploid, Russian scientists are both "shocked by [the] discovery and can't really explain how [it] is possible."

NEW YORK (PNN) - August 14, 2014 - According to a new report that looks at how continuing improvements to artificial intelligence and robotics will impact society, “robotic sex partners will become commonplace” by 2025. A large portion of the report also focuses on how AI and robotics will impact both blue- and white-collar workers, with about 50% of the polled experts stating that robots will displace more human jobs than they create by 2025.

German inventor Patrick Priebe has designed a wrist-mounted semi-automatic crossbow. While the inventor is not making this device available to the public, and will offer no tutorials on how to make one, it is noteworthy that he was able to devise such an effective weapon. More technical geniuses are needed in order to build effectiuve weapons to use in defense of our freedoms around the world.

WASHINGTON (PNN) - July 11, 2014 - The Pentagon’s Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency has announced the first successful live-fire tests of the military’s first smart, self-guided bullets.

In a video released by DARPA Thursday, Extreme Accuracy Tasked Ordinance (EXACTO) .50-caliber bullets maneuvered independently mid-flight to accurately strike targets purposefully offset from where the firing sniper rifle was aimed.
