New technology development pushed by fascist Feds allows for data collection on every child

Submitted by Freedomman on Wed, 06/04/2014 - 19:46

BOSTON, Massachusetts (PNN) - May 22, 2014 - A new study released by the Boston-based Pioneer Institute finds that new technology development that has been encouraged through the use of federal grants has served to threaten children’s privacy by allowing the collection of data on every child.

New super-heavy Element 117 confirmed by scientists

DARMSTADT, Germany (PNN) - May 1, 2014 - Atoms of a new super-heavy element - the as-yet-unnamed element 117 - have reportedly been created by scientists in Germany, moving it closer to being officially recognized as part of the standard periodic table.

Scientists figure out how to turn light into matter

Submitted by Freedomman on Wed, 05/28/2014 - 17:59

LONDON, England (PNN) - May 20, 2014 - In 1934, scientists Gregory Breit and John Wheeler theorized that turning light into matter was as simple as crashing two photons of light into each other to create an electron and a positron. This calculation was analyzed over and over, but no one expected to prove it, at least in a lab. Even Breit and Wheeler thought it impossible. Scientists at Imperial College London now believe it’s possible to turn actual light into matter results with a new kind of collider.

Skinny wormholes could allow us to communicate across time

Submitted by Freedomman on Wed, 05/28/2014 - 17:56

CAMBRIDGE, England (PNN) - May 20, 2014 - Wormholes, those notoriously unstable warps in space and time, could theoretically be kept stable long enough for a beam of light to be sent through them. Exiting at the far end, these beams of light could find themselves anywhere in the universe, and theoretically, at any time as well. If the beam of light were used to carry a message, humanity could actually find itself with the capability of communicating across the ages.

Scientists create bizarre human/animal hybrids

Submitted by Freedomman on Wed, 05/28/2014 - 17:54

LOS ANGELES, Kalifornia (PNN) - May 19, 2014 - Did you know that scientists are creating cow/human hybrids, pig/human hybrids, and even mouse/human hybrids? This is happening every single day in labs all over the western world, but most people have never even heard about it.

Tractor beams demonstrated

Submitted by Freedomman on Wed, 05/21/2014 - 22:00

CHICAGO, Illinois (PNN) - May 15, 2014 - Tractor beams (short for "attractor beams," which can bring one object closer to another from a distance) are a common trope in science fiction. But could they be made in real life?

Anti-surveillance mask can hide you from biometric face scanners

CHICAGO, Illinois (PNN) - May 13, 2014 - The Fascist Police States of Amerika government is spending billions of dollars to ensure that they can monitor and track every single activity in which you engage, be it online or offline. The latest attempt to infringe on your personal anonymity comes in the form of what has been referred to as Real I.D., essentially a social security number for the Internet that would be used to follow your every move in cyberspace. Coupled with technologies that include email mining, global positioning systems, predictive behavioral analysis, drones over Amerika, and even eavesdropping via microphones on our cell phones, the ultimate goal is a surveillance state so expansive that Adolf Hitler and Josef Stalin would be jealous.

Scientists engineer mutant DNA into living creatures

Submitted by Freedomman on Thu, 05/15/2014 - 18:37

LOS ANGELES, Kalifornia (PNN) - May 8, 2014 - The DNA of all life on Earth is made up of different combinations of the same two DNA base pairs - all life, that is, except for the new mutants living in one lab at an institute in southern Kalifornia.

Salt water plus graphene equals ecological electricity

Submitted by Freedomman on Wed, 04/23/2014 - 22:42

SAN FRANCISCO, Kalifornia (PNN) - April 20, 2014 - Here at DVICE, graphene is kind of a big deal. The element allows for innovation as far reaching as 2D computers, neon buildings with solar paint, and bandages that can help shield from infection. Frankly, it’s almost like the stuff is fictional. Luckily for the human race, it isn’t, and we’ve just discovered something pretty cool: flowing salt water over it generates electricity.

Spider Man fan built his own webshooting gloves

WUPPERTAL, Germany (PNN) - April 18, 2014 - I have some news that might be kind of hard to hear: you are never going to become Spider Man. Radioactive spiders don't exist, humans can't naturally stick to walls with their hands and feet, and a person trying to swing from a skyscraper with "webbing" would probably rip his arms right out of their sockets.
