Louisiana bureaucrats block social worker so she went around them

Louisiana's Health Department told her she couldn’t work because her business wasn’t needed. How does the government know if a business is needed? The market should decide. Bureaucrats say blocking businesses like hers helps “limit the burden on regulators." That is absurd. “That’s just not a legitimate excuse that the government doesn’t have enough money to administer people’s constitutional rights.” says Anastasia Boden of the Pacific Legal Foundation. She’s helping Newell-Davis sue Louisiana.

No one is turning in magazines.

TRENTON, New Jersey (PNN) - December 19, 2018 - Unless you’ve been under a rock lately, then you’ve likely seen the unprecedented push by all levels of government to separate law abiding Amerikans from their guns. No, this is not some conspiracy theory. The president himself ushered in a new level of gun control doing what his liberal predecessor even refused to do by banning bump stocks. However, as states across the country seek to limit the ability of innocent people to defend themselves, people are disobeying.

President Donald Trump’s former campaign manager and his former personal lawyer had pleaded guilty to federal crimes, and the memorandums, which are required by the federal rules of criminal procedure, set forth the prosecutors’ desired prison sentences for them.

This beautiful country is in crisis again, offering cheap living and a fast passport

BUENOS AIRES, Argentina (PNN) - December 10, 2018 - Last year, when Argentina offered a 100-year bond, I argues it was plain insanity. Argentina sold $2.75 billion of the debt, but the issue was nearly four times oversubscribed.

How could investors place so much faith in a country that spent most of its post-independence history defaulting on its debts? Plagued by a series of populist governments since the mid-20th Century, Argentina defaulted twice in the last twenty years, and eight times since its independence in 1816.

Well guess what… it’s again crisis time in Argentina.

Commentary: The next generation of thought police is being birthed on our college campuses

December 11, 2018 - If you want to understand the zeal with which social media platforms are now being censored, all you have to do is to look at what has been happening on our college campuses.

There is a national movement to combat “offensive speech”, and this movement has been working very hard to scrub campuses clean of words, ideas, and subjects that might cause discomfort or give offense. These days, just about anything that you might say or think is probably going to deeply offend someone.
