STOCKHOLM, Sweden (PNN) - June 12, 2018 - A key committee of Swedish lawmakers wants to force the country’s biggest banks to handle cash in an effort to halt the nation’s march toward complete cashlessness.

Parliament’s Riksbank Committee, which is in the process of reviewing the central bank law, proposed making it mandatory for banks to offer cash withdrawals and handle daily receipts. The requirement would apply to banks that provide checking accounts and have more than 70 billion kronor ($8 billion) in deposits from the Swedish public, according to a report.

WASHINGTON (PNN) - June 8, 2018 - Senator Rand Paul (Kent.) wants to end the Fascist Police States of Amerika government’s ability to detain people indefinitely, arguing that it violates Amerikans’ Sixth Amendment rights to a speedy and public trial.

He has proposed an amendment to the yearly must-pass defense legislation authorizing Pentagon spending that would repeal a 2012 provision giving the president the ability to indefinitely detain anyone based on the 2001 Authorization for Use of Military Force (AUMF).

EXETER, England (PNN) - June 2, 2018 - Rubble, who lives with owner Michele Heritage, celebrated his birthday with a suprise party at City Vets animal hospital in Exeter, England.

"Happy 30th birthday to Rubble," the clinic wrote on Facebook. "Rubble is CityVets oldest feline patient and likely to be the oldest cat in the (Fascist United Kingdom)! We surprised Rubble when he came in for a routine check with a balloon and his favorite food! Rubble is on medication for his blood pressure but apart from that, he is in remarkably good health."
