The Escort and the Mini-Gun

Stumbling around on the internet, I ran into an alarming, albeit short, video, that sat me back on my heels. It took me only a few moments to realize that while touted as this great patriotic "thing", this was just one more example of exactly how far down the tubes we as a people had fallen under a demonic spell. At this point I suggest you go watch the video, and read the very short article. Then you'll have some idea of what I mean here, about this mini, the “savior” of the Prez....

LONDON, England - December 15, 2010 - The British police chief says he is weighing up an option to ask the Home Secretary to enforce a ban on any future protest gatherings altogether across the UK.

Metropolitan Police Commissioner Sir Paul Stephenson referred to the level of violence in recent student protests against the rise in tuition fees, saying that he does not rule out banning all future student protests across the country, the daily Independent reported.

Pearl Harbor Remembered

Submitted by Freedomman on Wed, 12/08/2010 - 16:35

I tried watching the news this morning, and nary a word was said about this being Dec. 7--- Pearl Harbor Day... zero, zip, nada...and now I hear the kiddos say they are not taught that World War II was ever fought, nor Korea, nor Nam... a few sparse words about World War I, maybe... but, plenty of stuff on how Johnny has two mamas, and more ruinous to the country teachings, but nothing on how it actually faced adversity time after time and still pulled through...this is disgusting.

December 1, 2010 - Our sun may have a companion that disturbs comets from the edge of the solar system - a giant planet with up to four times the mass of Jupiter, researchers suggest.

A NASA space telescope launched last year may soon detect such a stealth companion to our sun, if it actually exists, in the distant icy realm of the comet-birthing Oort cloud that surrounds our solar system with billions of icy objects.

BitTorrent based DNS to counter U.S. domain seizures

Submitted by Freedomman on Wed, 12/08/2010 - 16:26

November 30, 2010 - In a direct response to the domain seizures by U.S. authorities during the last few days, a group of established enthusiasts have started working on a DNS system that can’t be touched by any governmental institution.

Ironically, considering the seizure of the Torrent-Finder meta-search engine domain, the new DNS system will be partly powered by BitTorrent.

Scientists reverse aging process in mice; humans next

BOSTON, Massachusetts - November 28, 2010 - Harvard scientists were surprised that they saw a dramatic reversal, not just a slowing down, of the aging in mice. Now they believe they might be able to regenerate human organs.

Scientists claim to be a step closer to reversing the aging process after rejuvenating worn out organs in elderly mice. The experimental treatment developed by researchers at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, Harvard Medical School, turned weak and feeble old mice into healthy animals by regenerating their aged bodies.

REYKJAVIK, Iceland - November 26, 2010 - Iceland's getting a new constitution and it's really going to be the voice of the people.

The sparsely-populated volcanic island held an unusual election Saturday to select ordinary citizens to cobble together a new charter, an exercise in direct democracy born out of the outrage and soul-searching that followed the nation's economic meltdown.

A well behaved herd of sheeple

Submitted by Freedomman on Wed, 12/01/2010 - 14:27

DENVER, Colorado - November 24, 2010 - If ever there was an indicator of just how apathetic and well trained the Amerikan public truly is, it must be this situation with TSA.

Like a herd of bedraggled sheep, thousands of you forfeited your Fourth and Fifth Amendment rights and allowed the government to irradiate you and view your virtually naked body, or allowed yourself to be subjected to an enhanced pat down… nothing short of a sexual encounter; and for what?

Attempts to redesign our species pose a serious threat to humanity's survival

Submitted by Freedomman on Wed, 12/01/2010 - 14:19

By Margaret Somerville

November 24, 2010 - Being an incurable optimist, I do not believe the human race will end, but, if it were to, I think it would most likely come about through human intervention in human life with avant-garde technoscience. Such interventions could either intentionally wipe out the species, as in the case of the transhumanists, or unintentionally, as could happen with xenotransplantation.

Passenger chooses strip down over pat down

SAN DIEGO, California - November 22, 2010 - When a San Diego man opted out of security screening using the Advanced Imaging Technology (AIT) at Lindbergh Field Friday, he stripped down to his underwear in an attempt to avoid the pat down procedures.

Samuel Wolanyk took the protest started November 13 by Oceanside's John Tyner to a whole new level.

While Tyner videotaped his refusal to be patted down, telling the agent, "If you touch my junk I'll have you arrested," Wolanyk decided to give the TSA a look at his body,  down to his Calvin Klein's.
