The Rise and Fall of the American Dream

by Brent Johnson

It hurts. It really hurts me deep inside, to entitle this article. It means that I have to admit, totally and with some finality, that the American Dream is dead.

Now don’t go all sappy or something because I’ve gone and said it. It’s not the end of the world. It’s just the truth.

Also, my admission does not mean that I am giving up the fight. I will never do that, nor will I ever give up hope. To the contrary, a free man or woman has a duty to fight to remain free; an unfree man or woman has a duty to fight to become free. Either way, when it comes to truth and freedom, I’ve plenty of fight left in me.

WARSAW, Poland (PNN)- May 25, 2019 - One victim spoke out, and then another, and another. A statue of a pedophile priest was toppled in Gdansk, put back by his supporters, and finally dismantled for good. A feature film about clerical abuse was a box office hit.

Poland thought it had started confronting the problem of clerical abuse and its cover-up by church authorities. Then a bombshell came. A documentary with victim testimony so harrowing it has forced an unprecedented reckoning with pedophile priests in one of Europe’s most deeply Catholic societies.

May 20, 2019 - A common trick of big-government loving politicians is to give legislation names so appealing that it seems no reasonable person could oppose it. The truth is, the more unobjectionable the title, the more objectionable the content. Two well-known examples are the “USA PATRIOT Act” and the “Access to Affordable and Quality Care Act.”

Submitted by Freedomman on Wed, 05/22/2019 - 20:03

BAGHDAD, Iraq (PNN) - May 18, 2019 - Iraq has spent the better share of the last 16 years under Fascist Police States of Amerika military occupation.

Despite this, time and again FPSA Iraqi relations have some to be defined by FPSA hostility toward neighboring Iran, and Iraq’s desire to not get mixed up in that.

So while Iraq’s Parliament was already bristling under Pentagon talk of staying in Iraq, and FPSA President Donald Trump saying that the FPSA was staying in Iraq to “keep an eye on Iran,” the recent escalation of FPSA rhetoric about a war against Iran has sparked action within Parliament.

On Saturday, Iraq will be voting on a bill that would aim to expel all foreign troops from Iraqi soil, and singles out FPSA troops in particular as needing to leave. The bill is endorsed by Iraq’s top two Shi’ite blocs, and is expected to pass fairly easily.
