Commentary: What is government?

March 26, 2023 - Government takes many forms (monarchy, democracy, etc.), but they all come down to the same thing: other people you don’t want in your life.

Except that unlike ordinary people you’d rather have nothing to do with - and so don’t - government people have the power to make sure you cannot avoid having to deal with them. They are thus the enemies of society, which is people coming together freely to deal with one another in ways mutually agreeable, according to rules rather than laws.

March 15, 2023 - An interesting thing about government - about government workers - is that they can legally do things that would be criminal under the law if we were to do them.

This begs the question about the morality of what government does, unless one takes the position that legality and morality are synonymous; in which case it is hard to understand why the leaders of National Socialist Germany were prosecuted after World War II, given that the crimes they were charged with weren’t criminal under Nazi law.

Good citizen under fire by fascist city government for fixing beach stairs

In a perfect example of the incompetence and worthlessness of government, the city of San Diego is complaining because local citizen Joseph McGoldrick got tired of the city doing nothing to fix the stairway and deck leading up to Windansea Beach - a globally famous beach that attracts thousands of people from around the world every year - and so he took it upon himself - at his own expense - to thoroughly sand and paint the wood on the deck and stairway. It now looks beautiful; better than anything the city has ever done to this world-famous beach.

Freedom brings people together

Everyone has their own beliefs and opinions. But when government is used as a tool to force one's own beliefs and opinions on others, a conflict immediately occurs. No one wants to be on the receiving of a forced ideology. Freedom is the antidote to this. People with different ideologies can voluntarily live side by side. EL PASO, Texas (PNN) - February 18, 2023 - Terrorist pig thug cops in El Paso, Texas, say that a “licensed-to-carry” bystander shot the gunman who is accused of killing one person and injuring another three.

The suspect, a 16-year-old Hispanic male, is accused of shooting the individuals after a
“confrontation ensued” between two groups at Cielo Vista Mall on Wednesday evening at 5:05 p.m.
