CERRO PARANAL, Chile (PNN) - July 12, 2012 - Galaxy-building theory says there are stars and there are stage hands. The bright, shining galaxies filled with stars, the theory goes, took star-building gas from somewhere else, but we couldn't find exactly where the help came from. Now astronomers have likely found that source; starless "dark galaxies" that fed others early in the history of the universe have been seen.

Marketers now track sales with retina scanners
NEW YORK (PNN) - July 12, 2012 - Consumer-products companies are turning to new technology to overcome the biggest obstacle to learning what shoppers really think: what the shoppers say.
To find out what really draws their test shoppers' attention, companies like Procter & Gamble Co. and Kimberly Clark Corp. are combining three-dimensional computer simulations of product designs and store layouts with eye-tracking technology; and that, in turn, is helping them roll out new products faster and come up with designs and shelf layouts that boost sales.
Amerikan Gestapo laser scanner reads people at molecular level
WASHINGTON (PNN) - July 11, 2012 - The Amerikan Gestapo Department of Homeland Security division will soon be using a laser at airports that can detect everything about you from over 160-feet away.
A scanner that could read people at the molecular level has been invented. This laser-based scanner - which can be used from 164-feet away - could read everything from a person’s adrenaline levels to traces of gunpowder on a person’s clothes, to illegal substances - and it can all be done without a physical search. It also could be used on multiple people at the same time, eliminating random searches at airports.

Checkpoint of the future takes shape at Texas airport
Goal is to make government intrusion invisible to citizenry.
DALLAS, Texas (PNN) - June 21, 2012 - Cameras capable of tracking passengers from the parking garage to gates to the tarmac are a key first step in creating what the airline industry would like to see at airports worldwide: a security apparatus that would scrutinize passengers more thoroughly, but less intrusively, and in faster fashion than now.
Fascist drone technology now comes in swarms
PITTSBURGH, Pennsylvania (PNN) - June 20, 2012 - A small insect or mosquito over your ear may now be much more than simply annoying. Those could easily be micro drones, which now come in a swarm of bug-sized flying spies.
In an effort to create a hard-to-detect surveillance drone that will operate with little or no direct human supervision in out-of-the-way and adverse environments, fascist researchers are mimicking nature.
New glasses could read your moods through your skin
BOISE, Idaho (PNN) - June 19, 2012 - The ability to read other people is largely perceived to be intuitive - some people just have a talent for “seeing” what other people are thinking or feeling. But what if you could augment yourself with such an ability, allowing you to perceive changes in other people’s biologies as their biochemical state changes?
Laser guided bullets can kill you from miles away
ALBUQUERQUE, New Mexico (PNN) - June 14, 2012 - A prototype self-aiming bullet developed at Sandia National Laboratories, an Amerikan weapons-research lab in New Mexico, could allow any soldier to match feats of hitting targets from a mile away.
Mind control video games becoming reality
SAN JOSE, Kalifornia - May 30, 2012 - Picture this: You put on a headset and relax your mind. Soon you begin controlling an object with your thoughts.
This mind-power trick may seem far-fetched, like something from a late-night science fiction movie or the back of an old comic book. But several companies are bringing this technology to life with affordable headsets that determine a person’s state of mind.
