September 16, 2019 - In order for the powerful to control the masses, a compliant populace is required. Those who hold the real power over the political class and media have been successful in their efforts to gain this control. This has always been, and given the human condition, will most likely always be. If only it were not so easy to fool the crowd, all could be different. But then, any crowd is easy to please and easy to fool; that is the nature of the beast that is the mob.

WASHINGTON (PNN) - September 19, 2019 – Someone asked me why he can’t have a Mahindra Roxor, which is basically a Jeep CJ/Wrangler 4×4 that costs half as much as a new Wrangler. One is legal to drive on public roads, the other is not.

I said you can have it... you just can’t drive it. Not on public roads.

RALEIGH, North Carolina (PNN) - September 5, 2019 - The stand-up comedy stage is the last place where you can speak without a filter. At least I always thought so.

People are bringing tape recorders into workout clubs to make sure comics don’t “cross over the line.” That would be the Speech Code Line, the one that dwells within the active imaginations of humorless graduates of Sensitivity Training Class. We used to have a motto: “The job of the comedian is to define where the line is, and then deliberately cross it.” Good luck with that today. Someone in the audience might just be a Kamikaze Safe Space Warrior, a person being repeatedly triggered on purpose in an act of self-sacrifice for the greater good.
