All Our Freedom

While on one of my weekly drives into town, I pass the Highway Patrol
Officer with his radar gun pointed at me.... I pull up to a traffic signal with
the colorful "PHOTO ENFORCED" signs and no less than 10 cameras and
flash bulbs aimed at me....I pass through CR scanners at a Border Patrol 85
miles inside America’s border that record my vehicle plate number …. I buy a
six-pack of Sam Adams beer to take home with me and the clerk that speaks no
English points to a sign that says I must swipe my Driver's License into a
reader to "confirm my age" (I'm 51 years old, I took my business
elsewhere)

Then I see the billboard proclaiming "FREEDOM IS NEVER FREE !!
Contact your Marine Recruiter today"

This is an ordinary, daily occurrence for the great majority of Americans,
just going about their day.  Some of us have come out of the government
supplied ether...and as always, once one has taken the "Red
Pill"  to cleanse this toxin from our minds and souls, we realize
that true  "freedom" is completely absent in America.  Even
the post I am scribing at this moment may be considered an act of
"terrorism"...the mere fact that your eyes are moving across this
screen...tied to your IP Address... may make you a terrorist.

Freedom is never relative.  We are either free, or we are
bound. Private or under surveillance.  In your quiet time, as you lay
your head to rest at night....ponder, if you will....what is “freedom”?
Is it becoming a Marine? Can you go freely go fishing, hunting, driving ,
boating, walking in a U.N. owned National Park without government
permission?  Can you even marry the love of your life without government's
permission (marriage license & fees)? Can you build a fence (building
permits, inspections, etc). Even to smell the flowers in "your"
backyard on which your house sits and you finally paid off is not even
free...you must continue to pay the king the property taxes so that you are
allowed to live there.

So, let us ponder.... Why does the U.S. Government believe they have the
"freedom" to be involved in EVERY aspect in YOUR life including the
right to spy on your written thoughts?  If we are so free in America, why
are you afraid of writing your thoughts on this subject or speaking them in
town square?  Don’t worry, those hired out of the Patriot Act will be
reading and monitoring it.  Sleep well in your “freedom.”
