GOLDSBORO, North Carolina (PNN) - September 24, 2018 - Tammie Hedges, an animal rights activist, attempted to be proactive and protect animals as Hurricane Florence enveloped the North Carolina coast and her home town. She and her group of friends began rescuing animals they found in danger of dying by the rising flood waters. Each animal’s exact location was documented so the owners could be informed following the floods caused by Florence.

Nearly 10,000 people have gotten cancer from toxic 9/11 dust

NEW YORK (PNN) - September 11, 2018 - Nearly 10,000 people have suffered cancers linked to the toxic dust and smoke at Ground Zero, The Post has learned.

The federal World Trade Center Health Program has counted 9,795 first responders, downtown workers, residents, students and others with cancer deemed 9/11-related.

In all, more than 1,700 responders and others affected have died, including 420 of those stricken with cancer, officials said.

KÖTHEN, Germany (PNN) - September 10, 2018 - Germany has been hit with another impromptu protest after a man in the eastern town of Köthen was killed following a physical altercation with two Afghan migrants.

Around 2,500 demonstrators hit the streets of Köthen on Sunday, carrying German flags and chanting, “We are the people”.

LONDON, England (PNN) - August 24, 2018 - A candidate in the European elections was arrested on suspicion of racial harassment after quoting a passage about Islam, written by Winston Churchill, during a campaign speech.

Paul Weston, chairman of the Party Liberty GB, made the address on the steps of Winchester Guildhall, in Hampshire on Saturday.

A member of the public took offense at the quote and called terrorist pig thug cops.
