Vermont considers legalizing marijuana

Vermont could legalize marijuana in 2015, after Governor Shumlin launched a study group to look into the possibility. A recent study showed that 57 percent of people living in Vermont support full legalization of cannabis. Just 34 percent said they are opposed to treating cannabis like alcohol. If Vermont proceeds with the legalization of marijuana, it will become the first eastern state to do so.

According to a press release from Congressman Steve Stockman  (Tex.), taxpayers who do not produce documents for the Internal Revenue Service will be able to offer a variety of dubious excuses under new legislation he introduced a week after the IRS offered an incredibly dubious excuse for its failure to turn documents over to House investigators.
