The Dick Act of 1902 (cannot be repealed - gun control is forbidden)
WASHINGTON (PNN) - January 30, 2023 - The Dick Act of 1902 - also known as the Efficiency of Militia Bill (H.R. 11654) of June 28, 1902 - invalidates all so-called gun-control laws. It also divides the militia into three distinct and separate entities.
The three classes H.R. 11654 provides for are the organized militia, henceforth known as the National Guard of the State, Territory and District of Columbia, the unorganized militia, and the regular army. The militia encompasses every able-bodied male between the ages of 18 and 45. All members of the unorganized militia have the absolute personal right and Second Amendment right to keep and bear arms of any type, and as many as they can afford to buy.
Rep. Josh Hawley Introduces the Pelosi Act
WASHINGTON (PNN) - January 26, 2023 - Yesterday, Senator Josh Hawley (Mo.) introduced a long-overdue bill that would ban members of Congress from trading and owning stocks. To this we say: it’s about time. But if the best part of the bill is what it does, the second-best part is surely its name: the Preventing Elected Leaders from Owning Securities and Investments Act.
Yes, it’s called the PELOSI Act.
Commentary: When truth is no defense!
by Eric Peters
January 25, 2023 - It used to be that truth was an absolute defense against libel - the latter being, essentially, a claim that information conveyed to others is false and defamatory.
As in “misinformation”.
Well, the wheel has turned, hasn’t it? In fact, it threatens to run us over - those of us who have the audacity to give voice to the truth.

Judge hands DeSantis a big win over the Stop WOKE Act
ORLANDO, Florida (PNN) - January 15, 2023 - A federal judge ruled that Florida Governor Ron DeSantis’ regime did not violate a court order regarding the state’s “Stop WOKE Act,” which prohibits colleges from promoting critical race theory lessons and targets other “woke” concepts prevalent on higher education campuses.
Decline of Empire: Parallels between the FPSA and Rome
by Doug Casey
January 13, 2023 - Like the Romans, we’re supposedly ruled by laws, not by men. In Rome, the law started with the 12 Tablets in 451 BCE, with few dictates and simple enough to be inscribed on bronze for all to see. A separate body of common law developed from trials, held sometimes in the Forum, sometimes in the Senate.
Commentary: We all secede
by Eric Poutos
January 8, 2023 - Why is secession considered such an unspeakable thing by so many when it comes to peoples and nations when everyone - literally, everyone - practices it regularly in their own lives?
Who hasn’t left a bad job for a better one? Moved to another place? Parted from friends outgrown? Everyone has done at least one of these things. Many have done them all, more than once. Are they guilty of a moral wrong for having seceded from situations that no longer suited them?
Here are the concessions that Kevin McCarthy had to make for House speakership
WASHINGTON (PNN) - January 7, 2023 - After four grueling days and 15 votes, Rep. Kevin McCarthy (Kalif.) is finally Speaker of the House - but not without having made a pile of concessions to a group of hardline Republicans who think he'll be too accommodating to uni-party interests.
