GENEVA, Switzerland (PNN) - November 12, 2014 - Fascist Police States of Amerika terrorist officials are in for a serious grilling on Wednesday as they get hauled before the United Nations Committee against Torture and questioned about a multitude of ways in which the FPSA appears to be failing to comply with the anti-torture treaty it ratified 20 years ago.

October 23, 2014 - In January 2006, Army Lieutenant Ehren Watada publicly denounced Amerika’s involvement in the Iraq war and refused deployment to Iraq. He did not do this because he was afraid to fight; he actually requested deployment in Afghanistan, a cause he believed in, even though Afghanistan is a more dangerous station. The Army denied his claim and denied his resignation. Watada was then court-martialed and tried in a military court, facing up to a seven-year prison sentence.

Catalonia will seek alternatives to independence referendum

MADRID, Spain (PNN) - October 13, 2014 - The leader of Spain's Catalonia region will call off a referendum on independence from Spain planned for Nov. 9 and look for alternative ways to consult Catalans, a key regional political party said on Monday.

ACAPULCO, Mexico (PNN) - October 1, 2014 - It all started over a month ago, right here in Acapulco, Mexico, when I commented to a good friend, "Have you noticed how much better traffic has been lately?"

He responded, "Yes, traffic flow has been so much better, because the transit cops went on strike."

It turned out that was the case. The transit cops in Acapulco had gone on strike and all of a sudden many local residents were noticing how much better traffic, which can get in to gridlock levels during peak holiday periods, had become.
