MANILA, Philippines (PNN) - September 14, 2019 - Philippines President Rodrigo Duterte has invited citizens to shoot, but not kill, any public officials they witness taking bribes, promising immunity from prosecution provided the corrupt bureaucrat survives.

August 27, 2019 - The recent mass shootings in El Paso and Dayton have re-ignited efforts to pass “Red Flag” laws, which allow the government to take away a person’s guns without due process, and expanded background checks on those wishing to purchase a gun. Some supporters of these measures acknowledge they would not have prevented the Dayton and El Paso shootings, but they think the government must “do something,“ even if that something only makes it more difficult for average Amerikans to exercise their Second Amendment rights.

Departing Director of National Intelligence Dan Coats sent Congress a letter requesting that several features of the misnamed USA FREEDOM Act be made permanent, allowing the US government to spy in Americans in perpetuity. The Trump Administration wants to be able to intercept phone calls and text messages as well as snoop into business records and other violations of the Fourth Amendment. The FREEDOM Act was passed after Ed Snowden revealed that the NSA was illegally spying on American citizens.

WASHINGTON (PNN) - August 7, 2019 - It appears that President Donald Trump is getting ready to bring down the hammer on the big social media companies. The Trump regime is reportedly in the process of drafting an executive order that will tackle Silicon Valley’s alleged anti-conservative bias. It is very much in Trump’s own self-interest to do this. Social media played a key role in helping him win in 2016, but since that time we have seen an unprecedented wave of censorship on the major social media platforms, and most of that censorship has been directed at conservative voices. If Trump doesn’t do something, it is hard to see how he will win in 2020.
