It applied to curse words on the public airwaves and in movies. It applied to violence in movies. There could be violence, but not the level that has become common.

February 18, 2020 - Given the massive welfare-warfare state system under which Amerikans live, the natural assumption is that the Constitution failed in its mission to constrain the powers of the federal government.
Actually, though, that isn’t the case.
How, then, can these two points be reconciled? How can the Constitution be said to have succeeded in its mission given that, at the same time, we now live under a massive welfare-warfare state way of life?

ROSEBURG, Oregon (PNN) - February 18, 2020 - It seems that West Virginia’s offer to accept Virginia counties in their state has rubbed off on other locations.
Several counties in eastern Oregon have mounted an initiative to move the state’s border, making them part of the neighboring state of Idaho.
Citing a very different culture, citizens in the more rural eastern counties of Oregon said that the laws passed in the progressive urban center of Portland have been at best unhelpful to their families and their way of life - and their solution, it seems, is to flip several of the more conservative counties into Idaho, moving the state’s border.

PIERRE, South Dakota (PNN) - February 8, 2020 - A bill that would put an end to vaccination requirements for students has been introduced in the South Dakota House of Representatives.
House Bill 1235 would stop schools and colleges from requiring vaccinations for students to enter school.
WASHINGTON (PNN) - February 7, 2020 - Every presidential election in the Fascist Police States of Amerika follows a clear formula. First, many people with absolutely no chance of winning the presidency declare their candidacies. Those who get washed out of the race late in the game see their fortunes rise, which was their goal from the first. Second, candidates with even a chance at winning their Party’s nomination drift to the outer fringe of their Party’s ideology. For Democrats this year, that means appealing to the most progressive of the progressive wing of their Party. Finally, when the race is set with two candidates, each of them will converge in the middle, eschewing the ideological members of their own Parties.
The federal government is only authorized to do things that are specifically listed in the Constitution.
