SALT LAKE CITY, Utah (PNN) - December 3, 2014 - In three weeks, Utah intends to seize control of 31.2 million acres of its own land now under the control of the fascist federal government.

In an unprecedented challenge to federal dominance of western state lands, Utah Governor Gary Herbert in 2012 signed the “Transfer of Public Lands Act,” which demands that Washington relinquish its hold on the land, which represents more than half the state’s 54.3 million acres, by December 31, 2014.

He did not do this because he was afraid to fight; he actually requested deployment in Afghanistan, a cause he believed in, even though Afghanistan is a more dangerous station. The Army denied his claim and denied his resignation. Watada was then court-martialed and tried in a military court, facing up to a seven-year prison sentence.
