Many viral videos capitalize on Palantir being the evil company bent on surveillance and elimination of your privacy. Though I have talked about what I understood about Palantir for over a decade, I did not truly understand what they did. I did some deep research and instead of confirming what other people have said, I was surprised to arrive at a different conclusion - Palantir is not the bogey man.
