According to a recent series of tests conducted by the Associated Press National Investigation Team, over 41 million people are currently drinking treated water that contains countless pharmaceutical poisonous drugs; and while the testing was comprehensive it did not cover the entire country. We are allowing the poisoning of our water, and all approved by our federal government! When is enough, enough? Revolution Now! Independence Forever!

How to camouflage yourself from facial recognition technology

Submitted by Freedomman on Tue, 07/13/2010 - 20:29

NEW YORK - July 2, 2010 - The day when you’ll be able to hold up your phone and identify a stranger through a viewfinder is getting closer.

Google’s Goggles, a mobile app for visual search, has a facial recognition version unreleased to the public, while Israeli startup Face.com’s technology can tag people’s faces in Facebook photos. Facebook even released a basic version of face detection last night, although it doesn’t have recognition.

So in a world where technology chips away at our ability to remain anonymous, how does one reclaim some semblance of control?

Invisibility cloaks and how to use them

Submitted by Freedomman on Wed, 06/16/2010 - 20:53

LONDON, England - June 8, 2010 - The "invisibility cloaks" being made in labs today can hide objects when viewed from a wide range of directions and in visible light - both considered implausible developments when the first working invisibility cloak was demonstrated just four years ago. But the technology that makes objects vanish looks set to be more useful for the safety of offshore structures and for unlocking cosmological secrets than for would-be Harry Potter impersonators.

Special alloy sleeves urged to block RFID chips!

Submitted by Freedomman on Thu, 07/16/2009 - 11:56

SAN FRANCISCO, Kalifornia - July 11, 2009 - To protect against skimming and eavesdropping attacks, federal and state officials recommend that Americans keep their e-passports tightly shut and store their RFID-tagged passport cards and enhanced driver's licenses in "radio-opaque" sleeves.

That's because experiments have shown that the e-passport begins transmitting some data when opened even a half-inch, and chipped passport cards and EDLs can be read from varying distances depending on reader techonology.

The cover of the e-passport booklet contains a metallic sheathing that can diminish the distances radio waves travel, presumably hindering unwanted interceptions. Alloy envelopes that come with the PASS cards and driver's licenses do the same, according to the government.

Speech technology is advancing
quickly; even smartphones offer apps that let you speak commands and perform
voice-activated searches. Now, a new app for iPhone and Blackberry can convert

of languages.
